By installing or playing Laser Dodger, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, uninstall the app and do not use it.
1. The service
Laser Dodger is a single-player arcade game. The current public version is free, playable offline, and does not require an account. The current version does not include advertising or in-app purchases.
2. License
Fossil Lake Studios grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play Laser Dodger on devices you own or control, for personal entertainment, through an authorized store such as Google Play.
You may not copy, sell, rent, redistribute, publicly perform, or commercially exploit the app, its art, audio, code, or trademarks except as allowed by law (including fair use) or by a written license from us.
3. Ownership
Laser Dodger, the Fossil Lake Studios name, and related artwork and code are owned by Fossil Lake Studios or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose, interfere with other people's use of Google Play, misrepresent the app, or circumvent store billing or security if future paid features are added.
The current game is offline and single-player. There is no chat, user-generated content, or multiplayer service to moderate.
5. Local progress
Scores, unlocks, and settings are stored on your device. They can be lost if you uninstall the app, clear storage, change devices, or if the device fails. We do not promise cloud restore.
6. Privacy
Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy. The current build does not collect personal information.
7. Updates
We may update the app, these terms, or both. Continued use after an update that you install means you accept the updated terms for that version. If a later version adds ads, purchases, or online features, those features will be described in the store listing and legal pages before release.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Laser Dodger is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fossil Lake Studios disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.
Some places do not allow implied-warranty disclaimers. In those places, the disclaimer applies only to the extent permitted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fossil Lake Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost progress, lost profits, or device issues arising from use of the app.
If we are found liable despite this section, our total liability for a claim relating to the current free version will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim (which is zero if you downloaded the free version and made no purchase).
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Fossil Lake Studios against claims arising from your misuse of the app or your violation of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop distributing the app or a version of it. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.
12. Third-party store
If you download Laser Dodger from Google Play, Google's terms also apply to your use of the Play Store. Google is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for Laser Dodger.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Fossil Lake Studios as publisher, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer-protection laws in your place of residence require otherwise. Those mandatory consumer rights remain available to you.
